Transportation Support Coordinator (Remote)
Position Summary
The Transportation Support Coordinator is a fully remote role designed to assist drivers, dispatchers, brokers, and operations teams in maintaining seamless freight movement. The primary objective is to prevent delays by organizing schedules, communicating critical updates, verifying documentation, and proactively addressing common dispatch challenges. Compensation and Benefits
Weekly Salary Structure
- Entry-Level: $865 per week
- Experienced Support Staff: $1,195 per week
This compensation structure translates to an annual salary range of approximately $45,000 to $62,000.

Key Responsibilities
Driver and Dispatch Assistance
- Deliver updated instructions, precise addresses, and appointment times to drivers.
- Monitor and track Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs), identifying any delays, breakdowns, or Hours of Service (HOS) constraints.
- Assist drivers in resolving road-related issues promptly and professionally.
Load Coordination
- Confirm and manage pickup and delivery appointments.
- Provide real-time status updates to brokers and shippers regarding load tracking.
- Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proof of Delivery (PODs) to ensure freight accuracy and prevent mismatched loads.
Time Management
- Calculate realistic timeframes for loading and unloading processes.
- Prevent scheduling conflicts by avoiding overscheduling and tight back-to-back appointment windows.
Documentation and Compliance
- Upload all necessary paperwork into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Monitor and track opportunities for detention, layover, and TONU (Truck Order Not Used) compensation.
- Maintain accurate and clean load notes.
Customer and Broker Communication
- Conduct check calls and provide regular status updates.
- Inform brokers immediately of any changes or potential delays.
- Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with shippers and brokers.
