About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Transitional Kindergarten Child Development & Child Care Teacher to lead our preschool program at Glenoaks Elementary for the 2025-26 school year. Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, this role is vital for providing a safe, enriching, and expanded learning environment that supports the educational, social, and emotional growth of young learners.
In this position, you will develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum while conducting assessments to tailor the learning environment to each child's needs. Your day will involve fostering a collaborative atmosphere with teachers, education assistants, administrators, and families, ensuring that every student receives the individual attention they require. You will model professional conduct, maintain strict safety and cleanliness standards, and guide education assistants to uphold program quality.
