Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE is part of Volunteers of America National Services, a subsidiary of the Volunteers of America parent organization. Proudly Great Place to Work® Certified for 8 consecutive years, we are a community dedicated to serving others and fostering an environment where both our residents and team members thrive.
Our Montrose location provides healthcare and supportive services for individuals age 55 and older, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes and communities. As the first Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provider in Western Colorado, our interdisciplinary teams deliver personalized, comprehensive care tailored to each participant's needs. Located in beautiful Montrose, the community is surrounded by stunning Colorado scenery, including the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park to the east and the San Juan Mountains to the south, with easy access to a charming downtown, local dining, and year-round outdoor recreation.
This is more than a job; it is a paid opportunity to serve others, live our mission, and make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting. As a Trained Medication Assistant (TMA), you will join a supportive, caring leadership team that values your voice in a positive, team-oriented environment.
You will maintain our pharmacy database with up-to-date and accurate information, handling the ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and discontinuation of participants' medications. Your day will involve administering medications and treatments as delegated by a licensed nurse, providing ADL assistance to residents, and observing their general status. Accuracy is paramount, as you will be responsible for documenting all medications and treatments administered according to facility policy and procedures.
We offer a beautiful, welcoming campus where you will enjoy coming to work each day. We provide opportunities for career growth and ongoing development, ensuring your work is purpose-driven and makes a meaningful difference every day. Our culture celebrates sharing, encouraging, and embracing diversity, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to do their personal best.
At VOANS, we celebrate diversity. Equal employment opportunities are available to all without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We believe that blending individual strengths and unique personal differences nurtures our shared commitment to our mission.
If you are ready to grow your career while making a difference, we would love to connect with you. Please review the "Know Your Rights" notice from the Department of Labor regarding federal employment laws.
