About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Traffic Control / TMA Driver to support our District-Wide Signing Operations throughout the Atlanta Metro area. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe work zones on interstates and state routes during highway sign installation projects.
As a key member of our field team, you will operate attenuator (crash) trucks to protect crews working on active roadways while setting up and maintaining single-lane and double-lane closures. Your day-to-day involves performing essential traffic control duties, including cone placement, signage setup, and lane shifts, alongside assisting the highway sign crew with the installation and maintenance of roadway signage.
Safety is our top priority. You will be responsible for driving and operating company vehicles safely in high-traffic environments, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and ensuring all work zones strictly meet DOT safety standards and regulations. Effective communication with crew members is essential to maintaining safe and efficient operations, and you must be prepared to respond to emergency and after-hours work as required.
