About the Role
Join Discount Tire as a Tire Technician in our Automotive department. In this hands-on role, you will mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires while ensuring every vehicle is serviced safely and efficiently. You'll perform basic inspections, maintain a clean and organized shop, and use proper tools and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSafely mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires and wheels on passenger and light trucks
- check_circleOperate lifts, jacks, torque wrenches, and balancing equipment according to safety standards
- check_circleMaintain a clean, organized, and safe service bay and work area
- check_circleAssist with inventory, stocking tires and wheels, and maintaining equipment
- check_circleCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely customer service
- check_circleInspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and safety issues while performing necessary repairs
- check_circleProvide friendly customer service and explain recommended services to clients
Requirements
- verifiedValid driver's license with clean driving record
- verifiedASE T-Tire Certification (preferred)
- verifiedAutomotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications (plus)
- verifiedOSHA/commercial safety training (preferred)
