Remote Telesales Insurance Agent

OpTech is currently seeking Telesales Engagement Health Insurance Agents to join their direct client's team. This is a fully remote position based in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone, offering a flexible work-from-home environment.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay Rate: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.

• Bonuses: Eligible for monthly performance bonuses.

• Orientation: Paid training and orientation period.

• Duration: The contract runs from July/August through January.

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

• Availability: Candidates must be available for evenings, holidays, and rotational weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to drive sales and maintain customer relationships through qualified inbound and outbound calls. Specific duties include:

• Generating new customer sales and retaining existing members across multiple product lines.

• Producing sales for all health segments, including Ancillary products, as well as other lines of business as required.

• Meeting specific sales quotas for Health and Ancillary products.

• Addressing customer inquiries regarding product offerings and implementing changes to existing policies.

• Identifying and soliciting cross-selling opportunities from both new and existing clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

Licensing

Candidates must hold one of the following active licenses:

• Florida State Health License (2-15 or 2-40)

• Non-Resident Health License (8-15 or 8-40)

Experience and Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum of one year of previous related experience.

Technical Skills

• Typing Speed: Must achieve a score of 35-40 words per minute on a 3-minute test.

• Computer Literacy: Must score 80% or higher on a basic computer literacy assessment.

Preferred Attributes

• Bilingual agents proficient in Spanish or Creole are highly preferred.
