About the Mission
The mission of Speechify is to ensure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Over 50 million people use Speechify's text-to-speech products to turn whatever they're reading—PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, websites—into audio, enabling them to read faster, read more, and remember more. Our suite includes iOS, Android, Mac, and Web apps, as well as a Chrome Extension. We are proud to have been named the Chrome Extension of the Year by Google and App of the Day by Apple.
About the Team
Today, nearly 200 people work on Speechify in a 100% distributed setting with no physical office. Our team includes frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and founders from leading organizations like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, as well as high-growth startups such as Stripe, Vercel, and Bolt. We are a flat organization where anyone can become a leader by demonstrating excellent technical skills and consistently delivering results quickly. About the Role
This is a key role ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building user experiences that delight. You will actively ship production code to our web products and work closely with a dedicated product team. Beyond execution, you will participate in product discussions to help shape the roadmap and have the opportunity to work on new, exciting features that impact millions of lives.
