Otter Valley is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and collaborative HS Math Teacher to join our community for the 2026-27 school year. We value educators who can deliver differentiated instruction using varied and experiential methods to deeply engage students.
In this role, you will serve as both an educator and an advisor, recognizing the importance of the student-teacher relationship. You will design standards-aligned assessments and lessons, using formative data to adjust instruction throughout the learning process. Your day will involve creating positive classroom cultures focused on relationships, inclusive practices, and reciprocal trust, while maintaining strong communication with students, parents, administrators, and other professionals involved in a student's educational goals.
We are looking for a candidate who can teach a variety of math courses, ranging from Transitional Math to Calculus. The successful applicant will collaborate effectively with colleagues to improve teaching methods and ensure support is in place for all students.
