About the Role
We are primarily seeking a Senior Tax Manager, though we are also open to Tax Managers and Directors. In this role, you will assume primary responsibility for client engagements, managing engagements, including scheduling, staffing, timing, and technical issues. You will ensure the completion of engagements by identifying and addressing problem areas with minimal oversight.
Beyond technical execution, this role involves significant leadership. You will manage, supervise, and mentor Staff and Senior Accountants, guiding and teaching through technical challenges while maintaining a positive team atmosphere. You will complete annual performance evaluations and manage ongoing employee performance.
You will also play a key role in the firm's growth by working with partners to identify and pursue new clients. This includes assisting with recruiting, contributing to publications, and conducting trainings. Maintaining and growing client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and superb client service is essential.
