We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of satellite communication ground systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to apply their technical skills in a dynamic, mission-critical environment while growing their expertise in satellite ground systems engineering.
In this role, you will partner with experienced engineers to troubleshoot system outages, analyze diagnostic data, and develop effective workarounds for operational issues. Your day-to-day will involve monitoring system performance, managing requirements, and maintaining critical technical documentation such as schematics, block diagrams, and Bills of Materials. You will also contribute to design trade-off studies, coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, and author technical white papers to identify system capability enhancements.
This position supports a classified program, requiring an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance prior to your start date. The role demands physical readiness for antenna and tower work, including the ability to work at heights, and offers the chance to engage in occasional domestic and international travel to support emergency repair situations and system modifications.
