About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team on a critical National Security program. In this role, you will work closely with government customers, contractor Project Leads, Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO), application vendors, and end users. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of our infrastructure through daily system monitoring, troubleshooting, and monthly patching cycles.

Your day-to-day involves proactively identifying and resolving network and application performance issues, often requiring you to report to customer locations during off-hours for issue resolution and software patch deployment. You will implement system hardening using Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and provide specialized support for Oracle database environments on Windows and CentOS servers. A key part of your mission is maintaining rigorous documentation standards, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Security Test Procedures (STP), and System Administration Guides, ensuring clarity and simplicity for all operational processes.
