As a System Safety & Reliability Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability attributes of our products are fully understood and that risks are managed to an acceptable level. This role is critical for integrating diverse areas of knowledge to create and support complex systems, enabling reliable operation under highly challenging conditions.
Your work will involve mathematical modeling of complex systems, probabilistic safety assessments, and hazard assessments to extract actionable insights that improve our products. You will apply multi-domain engineering knowledge to detail failure mechanisms and their system effects, ensuring that excellence and ingenuity continue to shape our future.

This position is based in Indianapolis, IN. We offer a hybrid working model where employees can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. This is a locally managed, flexible, informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum, all employees are expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons on average three days per week. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

Multi-disciplinary collaboration skills, including facilitation and communication at the component, sub-system, and system level. Technical experience in the use of Safety and/or Reliability engineering tools (e.g., Weibull++, XFMEA, XFRACAS, @RISK, Reliability Workbench). An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems. Technical experience in the deployment of Safety and/or Reliability engineering tools and methods. Member of ASQ working toward Certified Reliability Engineer credentials.
