The Sushi Team Leader (STL) is a destination role within the kiosk organization, serving as the on-site supervisor responsible for the operational excellence of the sushi station. This position bridges the gap between culinary execution and team leadership, ensuring that every dish meets the company's high standards for quality, safety, and presentation.
In this role, you will drive sales through precise operations and marketing execution while maintaining strict control over profit and loss through inventory management and business analysis. You will be accountable for schedule adherence, product ordering, and the training of Sushi Chefs. Beyond management, the STL actively participates in the kitchen by prepping ingredients, preparing sushi dishes according to established guidelines, and inspecting the quality of fresh produce and fish.
A core part of your day involves setting the example for customer service through ongoing communication with both customers and clients. You will foster a clean and safe work environment to prevent food contamination, coach team members on company policies, and lead recruitment efforts to build a team aligned with the company culture.
