About the Role

TAG MedStaffing is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join a Surgical Gynecology practice in New York, NY. This hybrid position offers a unique blend of clinical evaluation, perioperative management, and surgical assistance, allowing you to provide comprehensive care across the patient journey. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient outcomes.

Day in the Life

Your day typically begins with pre-operative evaluations and patient assessments, including pelvic exams and gynecologic diagnostics. You will develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, manage prescriptions, and maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

A significant portion of your time will be spent in the operating room, assisting with laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic procedures. You will also be involved in weekend hospital rounds and on-call triage, supporting patients during their post-operative recovery and managing wound care. This role requires flexibility, as the schedule includes Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursday through Friday in the hospital starting at 7:00 AM.

Requirements
