The Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. (CIFC) operates the Danbury Early Learning Programs, providing Head Start and School Readiness services. These programs are dedicated to supporting young children and their families through comprehensive early education initiatives.
We are seeking highly utilized Substitute Staff for our Danbury Early Learning Programs. This role is designed to provide coverage for planned staff vacations and day-of unplanned needs, ensuring continuity of care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. Substitutes work under the direction of a Substitute Coordinator and the daily classroom Teacher, assisting with maintaining routines, curriculum, meals, and related activities.

Program hours generally run Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM. Available shifts vary based on coverage needs and may include:
