The Student Leadership Coordinator serves as a technical and procedural advisor, trainer, and facilitator dedicated to enhancing students' capabilities in leadership and student government. This role is central to the Associated Students' governance activities, supporting social, cultural, and educational programs that foster student growth.
In this position, you will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to assemble and implement services that develop leadership skills. You will advise specific branches of the Associated Student Organization (ASO), including the Student Senate and Executive Board, on planning successful educational and cultural activities. The role involves coordinating student elections, managing budgets, and facilitating leadership workshops that address character formation and student development. Additionally, you will coordinate service-learning experiences and manage off-campus travel for conferences and conventions, ensuring students gain real-world experience while adhering to college policies.
