Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service efforts. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of our stores, ensuring a welcoming environment for donors and shoppers, and processing sales transactions efficiently.

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day-to-day activities will involve operating the cash register, handling various payment methods, and answering customer questions. Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You will also assist in accepting and sorting donations, helping prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
