Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to join our team and assist with essential retail store operations. This role is central to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will play a vital part in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for our community.

Day in the Life

In this position, you will be responsible for operating the cash register and handling both cash and card payments with accuracy. You will actively assist customers with their purchases, answer their questions, and help bag items. Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of your daily responsibilities, and you will follow specific store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register.
