Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks / Cashiers to assist with retail store operations, customer service, and processing sales transactions. This role is central to maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for our community.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day will involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and bagging items. You will also play a key role in the donation process by accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.

Beyond the register, you will help maintain the store's appearance by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You will answer customer questions and help keep the store clean and organized. Employees must follow store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register.
