Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient shopping environment for our community. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases while ensuring the store remains clean and well-stocked.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly. Your day will involve operating the cash register, processing sales transactions, and handling cash and card payments. You will assist customers with questions, bag items, and provide excellent customer service.

Beyond the register, you will help maintain the store's appearance by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging merchandise. You will also assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of your responsibilities.
