Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers while supporting our mission through the processing of donations and sales. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring the store remains organized and clean.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly. Your day may include operating the cash register, processing sales transactions, and handling payments. You will assist customers by answering questions, bagging items, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, you will help maintain the store's appearance by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist with accepting and sorting donations, preparing items for the sales floor, and ensuring the store remains tidy and well-organized.
