Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth customer service, and processing sales transactions efficiently. Store Clerks are responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the store running, including operating cash registers, handling payments, and assisting customers with their purchases.

Beyond the register, this role involves significant interaction with donated goods. Employees assist in accepting, sorting, and preparing donations for the sales floor. This includes tagging and pricing donated items, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting and organizing racks and displays while providing friendly assistance to customers.
