About the Role
Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is central to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers, assisting them with their purchases, and answering questions to create a positive shopping experience.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction and store maintenance. You will operate the cash register, handle cash and card payments, and bag items for customers. Beyond the register, you will actively engage in keeping the store organized and welcoming by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging merchandise. A significant part of the role involves supporting our circular economy mission by accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. You will also help maintain a clean and organized store environment, following specific store procedures for handling donations and pricing.
