Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks / Cashiers to assist with retail store operations, customer service, and processing sales transactions. This position is integral to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our community. Employees play a key role in accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day involves operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and processing transactions efficiently. You will also be responsible for stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items to ensure they are ready for sale. Maintaining store cleanliness and organization is a core part of your daily routine.
