Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers while supporting the organization's mission through the efficient processing of sales and donations. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and ready for shoppers.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly. Your day will involve operating the cash register, processing cash and card payments, and bagging items for customers. You will also assist shoppers by answering questions and helping them find what they need. Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. Additionally, you may assist in accepting and sorting donations, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and helping maintain overall store cleanliness and organization.
