Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is central to maintaining an efficient, welcoming, and organized store environment where customers can find quality goods and where donated items are processed with care.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and providing exceptional service. Your day will involve processing sales transactions accurately using the cash register, handling both for cash and card payments, and ensuring customers leave with their purchases properly bagged. Beyond the register, you will keep the sales floor engaging by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging and pricing donated merchandise.

A significant part of your role involves supporting our circular economy mission. You will assist in accepting donations from the community, sorting these items, and preparing them for the sales floor. You will also help maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a pleasant experience for both customers and staff.
