Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is central to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases while maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep our stores running efficiently. Your day may involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and bagging items for customers. You will also assist shoppers by answering questions and helping them find what they need.

Beyond the register, you will contribute to the overall presentation and organization of the store. This includes stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist with accepting donations, sorting incoming items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for every visitor.
