Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is central to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases while maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will operate the cash register, handle cash and card payments, and bag items for customers. Beyond the register, you will assist customers with questions, stock shelves, and organize racks and displays to ensure the sales floor is visually appealing and easy to navigate. You will also be involved in the donation process, which includes accepting donations, sorting donated items, and tagging and pricing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all areas of the store meet our standards.
