Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service efforts. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient store environment where donated items are transformed into affordable goods for the community.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day will involve a mix of front-of-house and back-of-house tasks, including:

• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
• Handling cash and card payments with care.
• Assisting customers with questions and providing a positive shopping experience.
• Stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and ensuring merchandise is presented attractively.
• Tagging and pricing donated items to prepare them for the sales floor.
• Sorting donations and helping maintain a clean and organized store environment.
