Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service efforts. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of our stores, ensuring a welcoming environment for shoppers, and supporting our mission through the processing of sales transactions and the handling of donated goods.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day will involve operating the cash register, handling variously, processing payments, and bagging items. Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging merchandise. A significant part of the role involves supporting our sustainability mission by accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. You will also answer customer questions and help maintain a clean and organized store environment throughout the shift.
