About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service initiatives. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of our stores, ensuring a welcoming environment for donors and shoppers, and supporting our mission through efficient processing of sales transactions and donations.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day will involve operating the cash register, handling various payment methods, and bagging items for customers. Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated merchandise. You will also assist in accepting and sorting donations, helping prepare items for the sales floor, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role requires following specific store procedures for handling donations, pricing, and register operations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
