About the Role
Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to join our team and assist with essential retail store operations. This role is central to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will play a vital part in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for our customers and donors alike.
Day in the Life
In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our stores running efficiently. Your day may involve operating the cash register, handling both cash and card payments, as well as assisting customers with their purchases and answering their questions. You will also be actively involved in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and displaying merchandise, and tagging and pricing donated items.
Additionally, you may assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is key to this role. You will follow store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Growth and Benefits
We offer competitive pay ranging from $13 to $17 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, weekend shifts, holiday pay, and performance-based raises, and performance-based raises depending on location and experience.
