Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. As a key member of our store team, you will assist with daily retail activities, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the smooth processing of sales transactions. Your efforts directly support our goal of providing a welcoming, organized, and efficient shopping environment for our customers while facilitating the acceptance and processing of community donations.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. You will operate the cash register, handle cash and card payments, and bag items for customers. Beyond the register, you will help maintain the store's appearance by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You will also assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is essential to the role.
