Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to join our team and assist with daily retail store operations. This role is central to our mission, providing essential customer service and processing sales transactions while maintaining a welcoming environment for shoppers and donors alike.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day will involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and bagging items. You will also play a key role in store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging merchandise.

A significant part of your responsibilities will involve supporting our donation process. You will assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. This includes tagging and pricing donated items according to store procedures. Throughout the shift, you will answer customer questions and help maintain a clean and organized store environment.
