Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is central to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the efficiency and organization of our stores. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will manage the front end of the store by operating cash registers and processing various payment methods, including cash and card transactions. You will greet customers warmly, answer questions about merchandise, and assist shoppers with their purchases, including bagging items. Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist in accepting and sorting donations, helping prepare merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store environment is a key part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring that our locations remain inviting and efficient for both staff and customers.
