About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Store Clerks and Cashiers to join our team and assist with daily retail store operations. This role is essential to maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient shopping environment for our customers. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions.

Your day-to-day activities will involve a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and assist them with their purchases. You will operate the cash register, handling cash and card payments accurately and efficiently. Beyond the register, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and inventory. This includes stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and inviting.

A significant part of the role involves processing donations. You will assist in accepting donations from the public, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. This may include tagging and pricing items according to store procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to follow store protocols for handling donations and pricing merchandise will be crucial to the success of the store.
