Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and helping to maintain the organized and clean atmosphere that defines our stores.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep our stores running efficiently. Your day will involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and bagging items for customers. You will also assist shoppers by answering questions and providing support with their purchases.

Beyond the register, you will contribute to the overall organization of the store. This includes stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that our customers have a pleasant shopping experience.
