Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep our stores running efficiently. Your day may involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and bagging items for customers. You will also assist shoppers by answering questions and helping them find what they need. Beyond the register, you will be responsible for stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. Additionally, you may assist with accepting and sorting donations, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and helping maintain a clean and organized store environment. You will follow established store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register.
