Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to join our team and assist with daily retail store operations. This role is essential for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will play a key part in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for our customers while supporting the mission of Goodwill through the handling of donations and merchandise.

What You Will Do

In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the store running efficiently. Your day-to-day activities will include operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and assisting customers with their purchases. You will also answer customer questions, stock shelves, organize merchandise, and tag and price donated items. Additionally, you may assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of the role, as is following store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register.
