Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of customer service and operational tasks. You will greet customers warmly, process transactions accurately using the cash register, and handle both cash and card payments. Beyond the register, you will assist customers with finding items, bagging purchases, and answering inquiries. The role also requires active participation in store maintenance, including stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging merchandise. Additionally, you may assist in accepting and sorting donated items, preparing them for the sales floor, and helping maintain a clean and organized shopping environment.
