Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for our customers while supporting our mission through the processing of donations and merchandise. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring the store remains organized and clean.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly. Your day may involve operating the cash register, processing sales transactions, and handling payments. You will also assist customers by answering questions, bagging items, and providing excellent customer service. Beyond the register, you will help maintain the sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. Additionally, you may assist with accepting and sorting donations, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and helping maintain overall store cleanliness and organization. You will follow established store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register to ensure consistency and accuracy.
