Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is central to maintaining an efficient, welcoming, and organized store environment where donated items find new life. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases while ensuring the sales floor remains clean, stocked, and ready for shoppers.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of customer service, transaction processing, and store maintenance. You will operate the cash register, handling both cash and card payments accurately and efficiently. Beyond the register, you will assist customers with questions, bag items, and provide a positive shopping experience.

A significant part of the role involves processing donations. You will help accept donations from the community, sort items, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor. This includes tagging and pricing donated goods, stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and ensuring the store maintains a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
