Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks / Cashiers to assist with retail store operations, customer service, and processing sales transactions. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment while supporting the organization's mission through the acceptance and processing of donations.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions, and bagging items. You will operate the cash register, handling cash and card payments, while assisting customers with purchases and answering their questions. Your duties also include stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging merchandise. Additionally, you will assist with accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Employees must follow store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register.

Compensation
