Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service efforts. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient store environment where donated items are processed and prepared for sale. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases while ensuring the smooth operation of daily retail activities.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks that keep the store running. Your day may involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and bagging items for customers. You will also assist shoppers by answering questions about products and helping them find what they need. Beyond the register, you will contribute to store organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. Additionally, you may assist in accepting and sorting donations, helping prepare merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for both customers and colleagues.
