Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is central to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers, assisting with purchases, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will operate the cash register, handle payments, and bag items for customers. Beyond the register, you will help maintain a clean and organized store by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging merchandise. You will also assist with accepting and sorting donated items, preparing them for the sales floor, and answering customer questions. This role requires flexibility, as you may work weekend shifts, holidays, and overtime depending on business needs.
