About the Role
Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is central to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases while maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will operate the cash register, handling both cash and card payments with accuracy and care. Beyond the register, you will assist customers with questions, bag items, and help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor. This includes stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging merchandise. You will also play a key part in our donation process by accepting, sorting, and preparing donated items for the sales floor, ensuring that every contribution is ready for its next life.
