Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks / Cashiers to assist with retail store operations, customer service, and processing sales transactions. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for donors and shoppers alike. Employees serve as the face of the organization, greeting customers, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience from entry to exit.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be actively engaged in various aspects of store operations. Your day may involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and processing transactions, bagging items, and organizing merchandise on racks and displays. You will also assist with accepting and sorting donated items, tagging and pricing merchandise, and helping maintain overall store cleanliness and organization. This role requires flexibility, as employees may work weekend shifts and holidays, with opportunities for overtime pay.
