Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is central to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers, assisting them with their purchases, and answering questions to create a positive shopping experience.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will operate the cash register, handle cash and card payments, and bag items for customers. Beyond the register, you will help maintain a clean and organized store environment by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging merchandise. You will also assist with accepting and sorting donated items, preparing them for the sales floor, and ensuring all donated goods are priced correctly according to store procedures.
