Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for our customers while supporting our mission through the efficient processing of sales and donations. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, ensuring that our stores remain clean, organized, and ready to serve the community.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will assist with a variety of retail store operations. Your day will involve operating the cash register and handling both cash and card payments with accuracy. You will greet customers warmly, assist them with their purchases, and answer any questions they may have. Beyond the register, you will help maintain the store's appearance by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and ensuring merchandise is properly tagged and priced.

A key part of our mission involves processing donations. You will assist in accepting donations from the public, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. This requires following specific store procedures for handling donations and pricing items. You will also help maintain a clean and organized store environment, contributing to a positive experience for both customers and colleagues.
