Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service efforts. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of our stores, ensuring a welcoming environment for donors and shoppers alike, and processing sales transactions efficiently.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases. Your day will involve operating the cash register, handling various payment methods, and bagging items for customers. Beyond the register, you will help maintain a clean and organized store by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and tagging merchandise. You will also assist with accepting and sorting donated items, preparing them for the sales floor, and answering customer questions. This role requires flexibility, as you may work weekend shifts, holidays, and overtime depending on store needs.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $13 to $17 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises.
